Which sources shape AI answers in your market, without you in them?

We collect the pages AI cites for buyer questions in your category, open the most cited ones, and check whether they mention your competitors, you, or both.

Live AI checks open soon

This tool sends real buyer questions to AI systems. We are verifying it against live providers before opening it, so it never shows a result that was not actually measured. These checks are available now:

What it checks

An Authority Gap score and the sources worth earning coverage on.

01

Sources, classified

Review platforms, communities, publishers, media, comparison sites, partner marketplaces, documentation, competitor-owned and your own.

02

Verified, not assumed

For the most cited third-party pages we fetch the page and check whether your brand and your competitors are literally named.

03

A priority, not a promise

A source that keeps appearing may be worth earning legitimate coverage on. A link there does not guarantee a recommendation.

When to use it

Example use cases

  • Decide which review platform, community or publication deserves real effort first.
  • Brief PR and partnerships with the exact pages AI cited, not a generic media list.
  • Check whether competitors are winning through their own content or through third parties.

Methodology

How the result is produced

Analysis version 1.0.0 · Scoring methodology 2026-10-04.1 · Updated 2026-10-04

  1. Buyer questions are generated from fixed, published templates using your category, audience and market. Informational prompts such as “what is X” are excluded on purpose.
  2. Each tested question is sent once, unchanged, to every AI provider that is configured, with live web search enabled. Providers that are not configured are listed as “Not tested”. Nothing is simulated.
  3. Cited URLs are normalised to their domain and classified by fixed rules (known review platforms, community sites, comparison and marketplace URL patterns, your domain, competitor domains).
  4. Up to eight of the most cited third-party pages are fetched once each. A page “mentions” a brand only when the name or domain literally appears in its text. Pages that block the fetch are marked “Unable to verify”.
  5. Authority Gap = of the verified third-party pages that mention at least one competitor, the percentage that do not mention you. It is reported only when at least three pages could be verified.

If something cannot be tested, the report says “Not tested” or “Unable to verify”. Uncertainty is never turned into a score.

FAQ

Questions about this tool

Which AI systems are tested?

The report lists every provider with its status. A provider is tested only when its API is configured and answered. Anything else is labelled “Not tested”, never estimated.

Will I get the same result if I run it again?

Not necessarily. AI answers vary between runs, users and locations. This is one observed sample, cached for a week so the report stays stable and shareable. Continuous measurement needs repeated runs, which is what Eli does once connected.

If I get listed on these sources, will AI recommend me?

Not guaranteed. These sources repeatedly appear in AI answers for your market and may be worth earning legitimate coverage or inclusion on. The tool shows correlation in observed answers, not a ranking formula.
